Modern Gothic Bathroom & Kitchen

I love, love, love Phoenix Phaerie's Creations . For many Sims homes I use her Manor House Washroom and Kitchen sets. I also tend to like to use pieces from the Manor House Kitchen set in that bathroom - ok, maybe you think thats odd -however, the counters and cabinets work beautifully in the bathrooms as well. Sometimes you need to get a little creative using the move_objects on and boolprop snapobjectstogrid true cheats along with a little help from the tv placement mod from Mod The Sims, some invisible OMSP's it works out beautifully. Then there came the need for black fixture's and cabinets - which is where my recolor comes into play. I'm calling my recolor Modern Goth, but i'm really not sure Modern Goth is the correct description, maybe sophisticated goth? Well whatever it is, I like how it all turned out. I hope you do too! Don't forget to download Phoenix Phaerie's meshes if you don't already have them (and you should, because they are beautiful!!) There is one mesh included in the file - Jope's (Simply Styling)'s Hob Deco Mesh, which I recolored in a black & white honeycomb style for kitchen back splash. The walls & floors are all in separate sips - the dark blue wall I used for the kitchen is in the Modern Gothic Walls & Floors rar file, it's called "Black Blue Paint" - I got this idea from a photo I saw on Pinterest of a beautiful gothic kitchen. In the pictures below you can also see all the additional walls & floors included in the files.

Prettying Up Those Staircases

I really like the Sim's Gothwise Staircase - however the colors weren't my particular favorites. I was looking for something a little bolder - something that would match a black and white hallway floor for a home I was building. At first I recolored the staircase entirely black with just some white in the railing. I thought it came out ok, but not what I needed, but when I recolored the stair casing white, it became exactly what I needed. I also have a habit of making loads of new walls and forgetting all about which set I planned to use them with, so the pictured wall below, the Black and White Roses Wallpaper, I am going to share as a stand alone wallpaper.

Dining Room Table & Chair Set

Its been a while since I last uploaded anything. My game decided to start giving me issues, and no matter what I done I couldn't get it working again. So after giving up for a while, I ended up completely uninstalling and reinstalling. I'm still in the process of adding everything back to my game. But while I'm doing that as I add new things I built a new tester house. For that test home I decided I wanted a particular dining room table & chair set. While I found the style of table & chair I wanted, couldn't find it in black which is what I wanted. So I recolored the set, except, it came out darker then I intended. Its more "goth" then "modern". But none-the-less I thought perhaps someone might like to use it.

The table & chair I recolored is from Phoenix Phaerie's Tuscan Kitchen Set. I am a big fan of Phoenix Phaerie's creations. I didn't recolor the entire set, just the table & chair. You'll need to download her meshes for my recolors to work in your game. You can get them HERE. If you want a black Tuscan Kitchen Set, DimSim78 has a black recolor - its a lighter shade of black then my table & chair recolor however. Once I recolor the table & chair again to get it just the right shade of black, I'll share that too.

Download my Tuscan Kitchen Table & Chair black recolor or download from MEDIAFIRE

Please forgive the quality of these images, I didn't reinstall the camera mods, so these photos maybe a little less then fantastic.

Annabelle Estate

This is probably one of my favorite houses that I made. I actually made it way back in September but never up, loaded it because I hated how the pictures I took of it came out. After downloading GunMod's Camera Mods & reading thru a few tutorials I finally came up with much better pictures to showcase this awesome house. This house has 5 stories of living space - which include the unfinished basement & attic. Very large rooms, lots of natural light, wrap around verandas on both the 1st & 2nd stories, a family room/sun room. There's 5 bedrooms, 4 full bathrooms, 1 half bath, large living room, office, family room/sunroom, sitting room, boiler room in the basement, garage with a deck on top, large kitchen with separate breakfast nook, dining room, lots of windows, fireplaces & loads more amenities. Fully furnished for $319,820.
