Game Of Thrones Update....Stark Family Portraits

So while we never actually seen any paintings around Winterfell of any of the Stark family members, we know they have to exist right? So I've already shared with you portraits of Lord Eddard/Ned and Lady Catelyn in the Game of Thrones - Winterfell Part 2 update. Todays portraits include all of the Stark Children (and yes I'm including Jon Snow as a Stark), plus portraits of Ned's father, Rickard Stark, his sister, Lyanna Stark, and brothers Brandon Stark and Benjen Stark.

Artist who designed the Stark Children's Images is Ania Mitura

The Stark "Ancestors" - from left to right: Lyanna, Rickard, Brandon, and Benjen. The image I used for Brandon Stark is actually a drawing of Ned Stark, but to me this actually looks more like the Brandon Stark as described by Catelyn in the books, than the limited drawings I found of him around the web.

Some site maintenance....

It was brought to my attention that some of my links weren't working properly. It seems that 4shared is giving some people downloading issues, so to make it easier for everyone who wishes to download my goodies, I uploaded everything to The Box and provided Alternative Links for each download. You may wish to use the alternative link to download everything anyway, its less ads, and is a quicker way to download rather than waiting 10 or 20 seconds for your download to begin with 4 shared.

With future updates, I will be providing The Box links as the main download link and 4shared as the alternative. I also upload everything to my Yahoo Group, The Sims 2 Fanatics Community, so if both file sharing sites are giving you trouble, you can always find everything there - plus creations by my very talented friends & co-Group owners, Val, Rosemary and Bruce, plus some by our friend, Rebecah.

So while reading up on how to fix some recoloring issues I'm having on a few objects I'm working on, my sweet German Shepherd decided she wants some attention, she pushed my laptop aside and shoved her head in between it and the back of the couch. Gotta love dogs!

Game of Thrones Update: Multi-Story Stark Banners

Ya, ya, ya, I know, I'm obsessed with the Starks & Winterfell, lol. If your not tired yet of my Stark updates, then perhaps you'll like my multi-story Stark Banners. The set includes 3 banners - a three story banner, a 2 story - single tile banner and a 2 story huge banner. Some upcoming projects which you can see in some of the above pictures include some Medieval Recolors of the "A Bit Steep Mansard Roofing" pieces, some recolors of Marina's Medieval Columns and fences, and a Medieval recolor of Vita Sim's Victorian Garden Set. Its all still in the testing phase, but soon as I work out all the bugs, I'll be delighted to share it with you!

Melrose Moss....a Medieval Themed Wall Set

Melrose Moss technically isn't a "new" set. I originally designed these walls for the Sims 1, one of my favorite wall sets, I had to recreate them for the Sims 2. If you still play the sims 1 and would like my TS1 version you can get it from The Sims Fanatics Community Yahoo Group.

The Set includes 8 walls all together - each wall has the 1 and side "a" (It only dawns on me know I should have named them "right" and "left" lol.). Although the TS1 set only have 4 walls altogether, in order to get them to look nice in TS2 I had to turn them into 8.

Game of Thrones Theme Update: Lyanna Stark and Stark War Shield

Taking a break from trying to mesh....ok actually I just temporarily gave up. While the tutorial I'm following is wonderful, dealing with trying to rezoom and play with the camera angles in 3D Wings on a laptop touch pad is a pain in the neck, one of these days I'll attach my mouse to the laptop and try again, right now laziness prevails lol.

In the meantime I have two new items for you today. The first is a painting of Ned Stark's beloved younger sister, Lyanna Stark who tragically died during Robert's Rebellion in the Tower of Joy. I have a little obsession with this somewhat mysterious character and some of my own "theories" about the true nature of her disappearance with Rhaegar Targaryen. If you want more information about Lyanna Stark, visit Lyanna Stark - A Wiki of Ice and Fire . As a huge fan of the Game Of Thrones Books & television show I'm hoping that once George R.R. Martin completes the series he will write a Prequel to the series about the events that led up to Robert's Rebellion.
