Anyone having trouble downloading things from TheBox.com? At first I thought it was just me, but a couple of weeks ago I saw on another TS2 creator's blog other people were having the same trouble. I thought perhaps if a couple of weeks go by the programmers at TheBox.com would fix it, but I was wrong, and this still seems to be happening. I still plan to continue uploading my stuff to TheBox.com but if anyone is having trouble, I have everything I made -- except lots -- uploaded to my yahoo group, The Sims 2 Fanatics Community - I also have other items there from before I created my blog. Lots I have uploaded to MediaFire - you can access my folder thru this link: Residential Lots. I'm also working on uploading the files to my spare One-Drive account, there's very little in it right now, but here's the link anyway: Rougue's Creations One Drive Folder
Update: I forgot to mention I also have some stuff uploaded to 4Shared - here: My Sims 2 Creations

The Mastiff - Apartment Building
All those Shermin-Williams Wainscoting Walls I uploaded the last few days were created for this reason.....The Mastiff is a luxury apartment building right on the beach. Its set up like two row houses that share a common basement. There's also two garages set up for 1 car each and room for some storage in each garage (although i'm not quite sure if a garage will work in an Sims apartment, if it doesn't, it just looks great as deco :). There's also two elevators that go from the basement all the way to the penthouses, a garbage shoot on each level, each apartment features both a dishwasher and trashcompactor, each full bath features 2 sinks, a separate bathtub and shower.
On the first floor of each building there's 2 apartments - the two apartments over the garage rent for $3696 a week - in each there's two bedrooms, two baths, a large living room, large eat in kitchen with wall oven, dining area. The two smaller first floor apartments each have the "corner" side of the building, they rent for $2453, they feature lots of windows, an eat in kitchen, dining area, nice sized living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom.
On the second floor, the two end apartments feature the same amenities as the first floor PLUS two balconies, one in the front, one in the back, they rent for $2453 a week. The two center apartments again feature the same as the first floor apartments PLUS two nice sized balconies in the front and back of the apartment and rent for $3756 a week.
The two third floor apartments are the "penthouses" - they are both VERY large. They feature a large eat in kitchen with wall oven, built in espresso machine, built in microwave oven, lots and lots of counter & prep space, a nice sized dining room, large living room, 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths plus powder room, a bonus area for an office or family room, 2 large balconies & 1 small balcony, plus access to a large finished attic space with loft. These apartments rent for $6404 a week.
The basement is set up as a full fitness center with 2 hot tubs, a sauna & plenty of equipment, there's also an arcade, dj booth with dance floor, an ice skating rink, a self service bar, buffet, modern laundry center & plenty of seating. If that's not enough, there's beautiful views of the ocean from each apartment & from the basement as well.
DOWNLOAD THE MASTIFF
Note: this is another large lot download, compressed its 40.7mb, but the lot itself is 96.5mb
Special Thanks to ScaryRob for his tutorial "How to use more than one Access Door to an Apartment", without his tutorial I never would have been able to create apartments with balconies & usable attic space for the penthouses.
SPECIAL NOTE: I just realized as I was moving my first family into one of the apartments that because I used the Great Divide fence around the kitchens, the new tenants can use the kitchen however they cannot decorate or add appliances to the kitchen. Also, you will not be able to furnish the attic or the balconies because of this. What you can do to fix this is before moving any families into it, enter the lot & activate the cheat code box (ctrl + shift + c) type in Changelotzoning residential - save, exit, re-enter. For each kitchen remove 1 small piece of the great divide fence (around an area that looks like it could be a doorway would be perfect to keep it looking neat. Do not do this around the balconies or around the fence surrounding the attic stairs - if you do, the apartments won't work right. But while you are still in the lot, you can decorate & furnish the balconies anyway you like. Once your completely done, open the cheat box again, this time type Changelotzoning apartmentbase. Save, and exit, and you'll be ready to start moving in families.
If you don't want to lose any furnishing when Sims move out of the apartment, there's a shrub at Simlogical called "stay things shrub" (listed under Miscellaneous hacks), place it somewhere on the lot and when you move Sims out you'll get a menu option to choose whether they take or leave the furnishings.
