The Holidays are upon us once again, that wonderful time of year when we're shopping for presents, decorating the houses all, drinking eggnog & having loads of fun! And we cannot forget our Sims in all the festivities. To help them get in the Christmas Spirit, I made some simple decorations for around the house.
Before I get to all the pictures I wanted to give you some mesh info and the download link: https://app.box.com/s/9b494pbuabav5yb1j9lk
Mesh Info:
You'll need the following meshes for items in this set to work:
From SIMcredible: www.simcredibledesigns.com
You'll need the Bel-Air Painting Mesh
(found in bedrooms page 2 or their Yahoo Group: https://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/simc_sims2_retro/info also
included in the Odessey Bathroom Set here: http://svt.paysites.mustbedestroyed.org:8080/booty/ts2/simcredible/odyssey_bathroom_bedroom/ )
From Living Dead Girl(TSR Artist): https://www.thesimsresource.com/artists/Living%20Dead%20Girl/ or
http://svt.paysites.mustbedestroyed.org:8080/booty/ts2/tsr/livingdeadgirl/ ----
artwork meshes from Mission Bay Bedroom, Bathroom and Office.
From Parsimonious: http://parsimonious.org/
Kate's Basic Cushion & Deluxe Cushion Meshes (pages 12 & 13 in Decoration section)
Also used is the Diamond Rug from Apartment Life, Pounding Waves Rug from Family Fun Stuff, Do A Little Turn Rug from H&M Fun Stuff, and REGOLit Pendant Lamp from Ikea Stuff.
Also included is a collection file & collection file icon, add them to C:\Users\YourName\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Collections and C:\Users\YourName\Documents\EA Games\The Sims 2\Collections\icons
And now for some pictures:
Some mats for the front door.
Word art for the walls
Christmasy Pillows - to stack the Ho Ho Ho pillows, I used the boolprop snapobjectstogrid false, boolprop allow45degreeangle true, and move_objects on cheat codes. The deluxe pillows lace is interchangeable. So have fun mixing and matching :)
Colorful lights, to place them close together, use the boolprop snapobjectstogrid false and move_objects on cheats
More festive rugs.
Hope you enjoy! Have a very Merry Christmas, and to those who don't celebrate Christmas, have a very Happy Holiday for whatever you celebrate!!
