Grant Park Exterior Door Recolor

A week or two ago I was building a cabin in the woods, couldn't find doors that matched well with what I was working on. I love the style of the Grant Park doors, but they needed to be a red wood color. So that is just what I done. I recolored two of the exterior doors red wood.

The Grant Park Set is a Sims 3-2 Conversion done by Tinkle, the original Sims 3 Grant Park set is by BauFive. I chose not to include Tinkle's meshes, however you can pick up the meshes for the entire Grant Park set from Tinkle's Blog - once you get to her blog, click on Tinkle's BPS Archive, then click on "S2 Meshes By Tinkle". The entire set is amazing, so even if you don't care for my recolors, you'll be glad to have the entire Grant Park set.

At a later time I may also recolor the remaining doors & window frames with this red wood texture - for now, it's just the two doors. Enjoy!

Been A While....

It's definitely been quite a while since my last update - almost a year as a matter of fact. Here and there I have been making stuff when I actually have time to play, but time and laziness is what always stops me from doing the little bit of work it takes to share it here on my blog.

Right now I don't have anything special, just 2 simple recolors of the Aqua Plus Shower (don't remember which EP) curtain. Both were made to match the actual shower curtains I have in my actual bathrooms.

So I have it set in my head that I'm going to work on taking pictures of everything I done over the last year, zip up files and upload them to the site. I'm going to try to upload a little each day, I have loads and loads of wall that I have to figure out which are which (again laziness prevailed when it came to renaming many of them, when creating the files in Home Crafter the file names are usually something like wall_zs83883338383 - so my plan for these is to open them in Sims PE to see which are which then rename all the files. This of course may take me another year lol. The wall and floor I used in the shower curtain images as a matter of fact are among those that I need to find and rename.
